Hi I may be bidding little late, but i'm here to say i can build a custom A.I[ Artificial Intelligence] model (with least possible computation cost) and get max accuracy. we can go with traditional OCR methods by using tesseract library but we will get higher accuracy with Neural Network (A.I) as we are dealing with handwritten characters! Appraoch : 1) build a Convolutional Neural Network 2) train network with example images ( data needs to be split into individual characters) 3) once the model is trained, we use it to predict character by character (we have to extract individual characters from pdf, which can be done with various image processing methods like thresholding, Morphological operations like dilate, rotation etc ) I don't have Proof of Work for OCR but you can check my freelancer profile for my previous A.I based work Can i see a sample of your document?
