Django rest api for large scale GIS based project

You are using a react website with Django RESTful API, this is exactly what I do, I'm a full stack Django/React developer, I have designed and built complex web apps with Django, I have a deep understanding of the framework. You have mentioned that this is a large scale project so we need to consider that, I propose the use of microservices architecture if this possible. If you can give more details I will make a good design of the API and the system architecture .
