Part-time: (10-15) per week but flexible if necessary. Position is fluid. Remote sales position for (PCBA) Printed Circuit Board Assembly - (CM) Contract Manufacturer small business: Miami area preferred for occasional face-to-face chats. Starbucks in Hollandale preferred. Great industry to be a part of. Great reputation and an industry you are happy to tell others you are a part of. Full transparency: Partnership gone wrong resulting in loss of primary account. Must have laptop and cell-phone. Need more eggs in the basket. Role Description: New account acquisition and management of those accounts. Bonus paid per purchase order. Hourly and/or mutually agreed upon pay structure + Bonus Role Responsibilities: Minimal phone contact. No hard sale. Patient process. Eventually, they start falling for you when you have enough prospects. Locate decision makers (buyer, commodities manager/purchaser, engineers) be placed on a bidding list and/or to receive a bid. Common sense practices. We understand, this takes time. You are not expected to be an engineer with technical knowledge; you are a sales person who doesn't operate as the typical intrusive, scripted, hard sell. They, (mainly engineers) understand this and that you need support from your team to provide them the best value for their company. Social media such as LinkedIn can offer excellent support when searching for decision makers. Hoovers etc. as well. Initially, accountable for provided listing of known PCBA - CM services companies (at appropriate time will provide sales leads from Hoover’s ect) proven through past sales experience and currently active with competitors. You are not walking into a beehive. These are new opportunities with no past affiliations with us. The companies you contact know exactly why your communicating with them. This is not a difficult position. Requires absolute consistency. While managing day-to-day operations remotely, we simply don't have the time to genuinely gain new accounts and grow them. You may be surprised how open client prospects are open to a new CM but, nobody is reaching out to them. We are not selling cars. We are patient and take the long approach. We can put together a sales plan that makes sense for you and our needs. Today's account management positions are electronic in nature. Nobody wants you knocking on their door or repeatedly calling them. and could care less where you're calling from. With consistent activity, it's only a matter of time when we are offered the opportunity to bid etc. Bonus provided with each new purchase order. We’ve been in business as a S-Corp since 1991.
