Low volume dry cleaning/laundry contracts

We are a small, new, environmentally friendly dry cleaning and laundry service, now looking to grow our business with the collaboration of a helpful and knowledgeable salesperson.

Our environmentally friendly status is based on the fact that we have invested in the most up to date equipment, which uses hydrocarbon in its dry cleaning process, resulting in considerably less damage to the environment. We have energy efficient engineered laundry machinery, which harnesses the ability to reduce water usage through recycling and weight-ratio recognition, thus enabling a reduction in the use of chemicals.

We are based in Milford, Godalming, Surrey. The premises here house all the cleaning machinery on site and provides for some room to expand as and when necessary. It also provides shop frontage where retail customers can bring their items in for cleaning/laundering.

Our work currently comes from walk-in customers, work from another shop that only receives but doesn’t house the equipment to undertake the work, as well as a couple of small ad-hoc contracts with a local golf club, suit hire company and a home ironing company.

Our turnover is currently around £3000/week but we are looking to increase it to £9,000 gradually. We hope to do this by increasing the work that comes into the shop but also by taking on work from other establishments.

The majority of work we would be looking for help to source would be from small scale hospitality businesses which require a low volume laundry service for their linen. Higher end both large and small hotels and hospitality establishments who provide dry cleaning for their guests is another avenue and we are also well suited to taking on uniform cleaning.

We currently operate a collection and delivery service within the Surrey area.

We would be looking to remunerate sales with a percentage of acquired work for a period of time and would be keen to welcome a freelance salesperson into our very friendly work environment. We believe we have clear pricing structures to inform any sales person coming on board to work with us.

We are looking for someone who has experience and understanding of the hospitality industry and perhaps has experience with working alongside really quite small SME’s.
