Investigation and Analysis Using Google, search for the terms “Italian cooking,” “classic Italian cooking,” and “Italian cooking NYC.” How do the organic search returns change? How about the paid returns? Why? Now use DuckDuckGo to run these searches. Is there a difference in the results? If so, why? Discuss how the search engine you use can alter the results of your search, and the impact this may have on the information you receive. Finally, Google uses your search history to try and predict the information you are interested in, while DuckDuckGo does not. What are the implications of this? Along with your analysis, post screenshots so that returns can be compared. Submit your answers here as a Word document or PDF. Your work should be 2-3 pages in length (not including cover sheet), typed in double-space, in 10- or 12-point Arial or Times New Roman font. The page margins on the top, bottom, left side, and right side should be 1 inch each. Use the APA guidelines for writing and citations.
