Python [login to view URL] giving duplicates

So I have written a bit of code in jupyter notebook that call apon another .py script that takes a series of images and converts them into 100 x 100 pixel images in black and white. But for some reason when I run the code via [login to view URL] I get a bunch of duplicates. But only after a few.
For example I run the code with only 50 photos in the directory and I get no duplicates but if I run the code with 200 photos in the directory I get a bunch of duplicates.
Any help on fixing this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
