Congratulations on finishing your book and I am sorry to hear that Juliet did not agree with you about how to end it. It's a very long book (especially for young adults) - and I'm guessing there's probably material that can be removed and the book tightened up. If you two did this - it would be cheaper to get an editor - and maybe the process will offer you clarity and resolution. If you were to offer me (or another editor) the two endings, maybe a new ending could be written that would satisfy you both.
