At [url removed, login to view];ord=biddate#bids we have posted a tender for a new site as follows:

This tender is to build a site called Freight4.

We will be selecting a bidder soon. We now seek a supervisor to work with the programmer to assist developing the plan, assist with testing and debugging, assist with documentation, act as 'help desk' for the programmer and assist with any difficult scripting etc - on the basis two heads are better than one.

Also as the programmer will be working for us after the site is build for upgrades and sys op type work we need a second person to fill in when the primary programmer goes on holidays, if gets sick, etc.

So the role is 1) supervisor and 2) relieving programmer when needed.

We seek bidders for 1) supervisor and 2) will be at an hourly rate to be agreed later.

1) SUPERVISOR'S ROLE

It is important the supervisor has the ability to harmoniously with with programmers and recognise the supervisor is not there to write the site - but certainly to supervise it and assist whenever needed.

The supervisor must be very highly qualified, and a degree in computing science is essential, and preferably a Masters.

Like the primary programmer the supervisor MUST have a 'can do' attitude and must, like the programmer, be dedicated to making sure this new site is state of the art and clever and easy for its users to use. We need a person who is dedicated to doing the job 110% and who is prepared to go that extra mile to make sure users of the site find it as easy to use as possible, and willing to make suggestions as to improvements i.e. generally take pride in the site working out.

So if you have those skills and mind set please tender a lump sum to 1) supervise the site to those specifications at [url removed, login to view]

Also mention 2) your hourly rate.

If any extra work is required over those specs. That will be an extra - though we are not seeking a person who pedantically trys to make any slight variation an extra (as you know when a site is built from specs there are always slight variations to make it better when one gets down to writing it) - but genuine novel extra work will be an extra.

Please do NOT bid if you have not read the specs and perused the mock up in detail so you now what you are proposing to supervise.
