We are a small family-owned software development company with an established product and customers base in need of a project manager to create, monitor and follow up on timelines and to be involved in identifying gaps in the software and adding these to the development pipelines. This is a new role.
The primary role is to project manage various timelines throughout our small support and development teams, to follow up with relevant stakeholders in order to help deliver projects on time and to report to management about any risks or delays.
Gap analysis will be required, particularly in discussions with new customers, and working alongside the development team to create short specifications of any changes needed. In its simplest case this could be adding a column to a report, or a more complex one to sketch out some changes to GUI interfaces based on guidance from the Development Manager, clearly communicating this in writing to (our) Software Developers and mapping this against delivery timelines of a larger project.
