I minify the java scripts and put them in footer file I reduce the image size with the help of image compression tool to reduce the loading time of images. Hi - I've worked as a performance engineer for some major companies and I've done a lot with wordpress including speeding some sites up. You have some things that are pretty obvious and then there are 1 or 2 plugins you can use for speed. You are at 17s right now. I think 5 is reasonable. 2-3 might be hard. if you want we can have part of the milestone be for 5s and the rest for <3s.

Hello I saw your website for wich you need optimization and even more- i checked the website not only on Gmetrix but in other tools and i can confirm about the problems connected to load time etc. I am able to optimized,just not sure that 2 sec load time is possbile in case of the content fo the site, Maybe 3-4 sec will be Okey.
