Payroll Rep Timekeeper

Maintains and processes edit log entries for assigned department(s) ensuring accuracy of edits and compliance with pay practices and/or contracts. Collects and processes original edit logs for assigned departments. Ensures original edit logs are maintained in appropriate area in accordance with department procedures. Completes and submits pay correction forms as needed to regional payroll in a timely manner. Manually recalculates hours to determine the weekly/daily/per pay period hours worked; evaluates the applicable pay rules and considers employee employment status to determine what rules apply to meet contractual guidelines and employee/manager expectations. Provides guidance to managers to ensure consistent, concise and accurate time entries. Serves as point of contact for time entry audits submitted prior to final preparation for payroll processing. Performs periodic audits of data, reports, or processing/time entry functions and keeps management apprised of irregularity patterns. Investigates and troubleshoots unique issues that may negatively impact systems (e.g. badge problems, various hardware or Kronos matters). Examines records to identify patterns/issues associated with scheduling irregularities or human errors and addresses with manager.
