OpenCart Integration Specialist Needed
$10-20 AUD / hour
We are seeking a talented and experienced OpenCart Integration Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OpenCart development and a proven track record of successfully integrating OpenCart with various third-party systems and services. The OpenCart Integration Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations to enhance the functionality and efficiency of our e-commerce platform.
Responsibilities:
Integration Design and Planning:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements for integration projects.
Design and plan integration solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.
Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies for seamless OpenCart integrations.
OpenCart Development:
Develop custom modules, extensions, and plugins to extend the functionality of OpenCart.
Customize and enhance OpenCart features to meet specific integration requirements.
Ensure code quality, security, and performance in all development tasks.
Third-Party System Integration:
Integrate OpenCart with external APIs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and other third-party systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data synchronization and communication between OpenCart and external systems.
Data Mapping and Transformation:
Define data mapping and transformation rules to facilitate seamless data flow between OpenCart and integrated systems.
Implement data validation and error-handling mechanisms to ensure data integrity.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of integrations to identify and resolve bugs or issues.
Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and stability of integrated systems.
Documentation:
Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes, configurations, and custom development.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an OpenCart Developer with a focus on integration projects.
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
Familiarity with e-commerce best practices and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
OpenCart certification is a plus.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Knowledge of other e-commerce platforms and systems.
