Skills: C#, VB.NET and PHP, visual composer, WordPress Budget: $ 40-$ 80 I have a WordPress real estate theme and I need to import and auto update thousands of property listings to my site. The theme is called hometown and looks like this [login to view URL] The theme refers to a plugin that can import property listings: [login to view URL] but that particular plugin doesn’t exist anymore because of very bad reviews. On the support page of the theme there is a lot of discussion and advise in regards to the IDX [login to view URL] But do I really need a plugin?? Maybe the theme already has some built in functionality for this, or maybe some simple coding is enough? The Canadian Real Estate Association offered me the DDF [login to view URL] My question is if this is enough to integrate into my WordPress site with some coding, or do I still need a plugin? Please read the DDF documentation and come with a prop Dejan V.

You do need the plugin. I have worked with dozens of RE Brokers/Agents and have developed over 30 IDX integrated websites. You can use other plugins that are compatible with CREA, I assume that is what you use for IDX API key. CREA will give you a list of compatible IDX Third Party Vendors that have their own plugin, that we can then see if it integrates with your theme.
