Magento problem fix - unable to add new images from admin

I have a problem with my Magento website. I cannot seem to add any new images for new or existing products in the admin area for my website. The "Images" menu is there but I am unable to upload anything, the option to do so seems to have been removed. I have tried 2 different browsers and still the same problem.
