History timeline

I would like to build a web site having as its core feature adding items on a timeline in the following way: • there will be a timeline defined from -13,6 billions years to + 10.000 years displayed as a continuous line from -13.6 until present and a blurred line from present to +10.000. • on this timeline, there will be a clock showing the current GMT time (date + hour & minute) • users can add / edit / delete multiple ENTITIES having: o title (mandatory) – maxim 30 characters. o Image (optional). The image can either be uploaded from a local machine or displayed from google images. o *start date (mandatory). Based on the Start date, there will be created a parallel timeline starting from the point representing the start date. At the beginning of this parallel timeline, there will be displayed the title and image. o end date (optionally) • optionally, for each entity, the user can add / edit / delete multiple DIMENSIONS having (see attachment Dimension): o Title (mandatory) – maxim 30 characters. o Image (optional). The image can either be uploaded from a local machine or displayed from google images. o *Start and end date similar to the entity. • for each entity or dimension, the user can define (add / edit / delete) multiple EVENTS. Each event will be defined as having: o title (optionally) – maxim 30 characters. o image - (mandatory if it doesn’t have a title). The image can either be uploaded from a local machine or displayed from google images. o *start date (mandatory) – it will be represented o end date (optionally) – in this case, the event will actually be a period. End date should be greater than Start date. o Description (optionally) – maxim 500 characters. o Link (optionally) – to point to a site on internet. o Importance – 0, 1, 2. In case of value 0, the event will be displayed only when the user views the entity with all its dimensions. In case of value 1, the event will be displayed even if the user views the entity without scrolling to its dimensions. In case of value 2, the event will be displayed on the main timeline. The event will be displayed on the timeline only through its title and / or image. When the user will click on the event, the other information (description, link, etc) will be displayed as well. *Start date: for -13.6 billions to 1, date will only be displayed as a number. For events after 1, the user has the ability to set a day and a month. Navigation: The landing page will show the main timeline in the top center page with the focus on the time between -10.000 and 2100 along with the events of importance 2. The user can have a zoom out to see the entire timeline (ideally scrolling with the mouse) and a zoom in in case he would like to see more details. Any entity will be displayed parallel to this timeline, ordered by the start date of each entity. Each entity will have displayed the events of Importance 1. If the user would like to see more details related to an entity, he will zoom in, and the dimensions correspondent to the entity along with their events will be displayed. The user has the ability to view or to hide an entity. In case he would like to see more details related to an entity, he will be able to zoom in and the dimensions of that entity will be displayed.
