I have built a WordPress website that uses the REST API on a page to show some events (custom post type). These events have some custom fields including "event date" if the event happens on a specific day or "start date"/"end date" if the event is recurrent. The events can be filtered by month so I have successfully converted the dates into numeric months and made them appear in the API with register_rest_field under the key event_month. Now I am trying to filter the request by event_month with rest_events_query and it kind of does something but the response is incorrect. If I do &event_month=11 it doesn't show the events in November. If I do &event_month=1 it shows the events in October (10) and August (8). I am looking for someone that can help fix this small glitch.
