Amend embedded code for Mailchimp email Subscribe to stop page redirect

I've embedded the mailchimp signup form onto my website, but it redirects to a mailchimp thank you page - I just want it to display a message on the same page to say sign up successful or unsuccessful. I've researched how to do this, but it's taking me ages to understand where to put the code :( I can give you my current code to amend.
