I have large experience with Linux and webservers, use daily EC2 and I managed SSL certificates with several large sites used by the Oil Company Petrobras and the e-commerce website called Americanas and Submarino, very large e-commerce websites in Brazil. - What needs to be done - Create the ec2 instance - Install the tools necessary to Wordpress ( Last version or one you think should be more suitable ) - Configure the webserver - Configure the SSL certificates. If you already have the certificates, will be more easy to do all this work. Everything will be done and will be available in one day, since you agree in work with me. Be free to contact me if you need more details or give more information. One thing you didn't describe in your project is how many people you think will access the site. That's necessary to scale the EC2 instance correctly, since as long you receive more hits in your website, will be needed more CPU and memory. Hi I am a certified aws solution architect and will help you in setting up your wordpress sits on EC2 instance. For SSL you have three options: 1. Buy SSL certificate from service provider like GoDaddy etc. and deploy it on EC2 2. Create Self-signed SSL certificate on EC2 , user may still see security warnings though 3.
