We are looking for a programmer that can write a piece of software to monitor specific Amazon marketplaces/store fronts for new products. We know that this can be done as there are several pieces of software on the market that do similar type things. We're not looking for anything fancy. Just something that will get the job done. My guess is that it will need to monitor 75-100 marketplaces. The software will need to index the products in those marketplaces once a day and then either notify us when there's a new product or have the information put into a report that we can download as needed. Each marketplace could have 20-500 products.

We developed a php application for amazon to ebay drop shipping which does most of what you asking in the project. it is monitoring amazon categories and fill the database with amazon products then it search for matching ebay products for each amazon product to identify similar listings for comparison. For amazon scrape we use a headless browser which need to be hosted on a VPS which will cost you around 10$/ month ( there is number of hosting providers who provide the VPS cheap - I can advice you here if you want) The project is quite simple for me as I have worked on many number of amazon scraping projects.
