We are looking for a website developer/designer to undertake some design and technical work on the platform Connect4SD.org.
The platform was initially developed by non-IT experts as a prototype for demonstration purposes. As we intend to launch the service in the coming months, we are looking for someone capable of fixing various bugs, improving the global design and adding some functionalities.
Access to the website is currently password protected. Connection details can be found in the attached document.
Tasks include:
Align platform headers between Connect4SD and Experts4SD for visual continuity.
On Awareness Raising Platform (ARP), in multiple listing view, remove “read more” button in excerpt and replace with data pulled from question 1 (type) and 2 (motivation) of entry form.
On ARP, in multiple listing view, adapt the filter below map (using markers) to use answers from 2nd question of entry form as filter instead of categories.
Google map with Chrome, fix project URL in tooltip. Long URLs don’t break
ARP, Improve search function to search in activity description not just title and include additional filters from question 1 and 2 of entry form.
In single project view, display project categories instead of ID
in single project view (improve visibility of information above the gallery and edit tabs with Contact Details and Opening Hours)
In single project view, if reported, display budget and currency
Adapt terminology embedded in template. Replace mentions of “Listings” with “Activities” on ARP and replace “Listings” with “Resources” in Library.
