Build a Database

Our growth-stage social enterprise seeks an experienced Database Developer to conceive of and implement a database which houses information for our organization; a growth-stage social enterprise that recruits, trains and hires early career adults from underserved populations. The ideal candidate should be prepared to: Design, create, and rollout custom database for housing data from different products and services from within the organization. Design, code, and implement a program to pull data (JSON) from third party database using a third party API (ApplicantStack), and create records in the custom database using that data. Create/recommend user friendly UI for viewing, editing, and reporting on data. Create and maintain documentation of business requirements and technical implementation Assist in enhancement of current systems to ensure backend scalability and data integrity Respond timely to ad hoc data requests from the business, ensuring accuracy and integrity of results Maintain and monitor production, development, test and disaster recovery environments. Ensures all environments are in sync with production. Responsible for security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of company data. Provide guidance for future expansions/integrations of the database (Workplace by Facebook, HCM, Mobile app, etc.).
