We currently run Windows Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 with Office 2003.
We would like to place the version number that sharepoint assigns to the document, to be inserted into the footer of the word document template for that document library.
So if the document was version 3, in the bottom of the word template it would read "Version 3". It has be be able to take the information directly from the sharepoint portal.
