Sitemap Generator using MYSQL

I need multiple standard sitemaps indexing over 100k urls using a script to generate the links from a mysql database. The sitemaps should meet googles standards as seen here [login to view URL] and because of frequent new content I need a cron job in place to continuously run the script generating new/updated sitemaps. I really just need an example script that generates the sitemaps, I can put the cron in place and provide the code that displays the urls from the database. I usually don't use sitemaps so I'm really just looking for the best seo friendly expert method.
