I simple application to work with my QBPremier2003 [login to view URL] appl should let me search my inventory by different critera. To make it clear, look at the Item Price list report in QB Premier 2003. When goto modify report you can search items by any part of: Name,Description,Vendor,Price range, sex (Custom field defined in my QB file). You should be able to search by one or all criterias. All search, except for name and description should be selected from a list and not typed. This should be just as in a search engine, match all items that contain the words typed and/or selected. The query results should appear in a list from where the user selects one item and views its information including the picture (Just display it calling [login to view URL]). I also want to to be able to add items to my inventory in QB from this application. I have some items which I need to track, so i have to enter a few more information fields which will not appear in my QB file, but will be saved in a DB (access) so when I search in the application I can see all of this information and be able to search by this fields. The info can be saved in an access file. It is really simple. I did the first part of the application (something similar) exporting the item price list report to access and using it as the db, the problem is it is not synchronized with my QB file. I attach the file (its in Spanish but) so you have an idea (it has a few variations of what I described to you). First page is an intro and the you can either search by product id (which would be the name) or by description (description, price, sex, and I have other fields there but this wont be included in the new app). Would it be ok for you to send me the VB code of the application so I can translate it to spanish?
