TITLE OF THE PROJECT:- The title of the project is "Army School's Personal Assistant" (ASPA). The objective of the project is to provide a framework for the management and effective functioning of the school. The project is dealing with two very important activities of the school i.e. a) Admission system b) Fee management system. Fee collection process of the school is very tedious and cumbersome process. The records of the student fee is validated and checked and stored in various registers thus the objective of the project is to make the admission and fee management a very simple process. The other main objective is to make the report generation process very simple. This will help the management of the school in easy retrievable of information regarding the fee collection and admission during the particular year. Moreover a number of data bases will be required to maintain the student record and fee record. In 'ASPA', the security provision is again a very event which has to be maintained so that only authorized users can access the fee data bases. ANALYSIS When the student is admitted he/she is issued a fee slip booklet having a unique number on it. This number is used for verification and validation process during monthly fee collection. The details i.e. the number of slip is kept in the Slip Register File against a particular student admission number. The fee collected from the student (new) is kept in 'FEE SUMMARY REGISTER' and 'INDIVIDUAL FEE COLLECTION REGISTER' (IFCR). The record of the new admission is kept in 'RECORD OF ADMISSION REGISTER' (REC-ADM-REG) table. When TC is issued to some student his/her name is struck out from the REC-ADM-REG and an audit trail is created to store the student left in the school in TC-RECORD-REG. From this file, numbers of reports are generated. When an old student pays fee, its record is kept in IFCR. Hence, a validation process of the fee against a student is done. Detailed data flow diagram for ASPA will be as follows: Modules in ASPA will be - i) Admission system ii) Fee Management iii) Issue of TC iv) Issue of fee slips process ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. REPORTS to be generated ASPA will be able to generate the following reports i) Admission during a particular session ii) Admission according to categories such as (JCOs, OR Officers and Civilians) iii) Class-wise admission iv) Section-wise strength of the student admitted v) Class-wise TC reports vi) Total fee collection of the school (Monthly/daily/weekly/yearly) vii) Fee summary (Special funds) viii) Fee summary of old/new students ## Platform the backend in 'ASPA' is oracle and front-end will be VB 6.0. The proposed project will be developed in windows environment. ## Deadline information must be complete by 29/6/2002
