Wedding Registry Website(repost)(repost)

This is a repost of a wedding registry site that I posted a few weeks ago. ? The specs have changed a bit, so that is why I am reposting. ? I am ready to choose a coder at this point. I have created a website where a bride and groom can create a "universal wedding registry". ? They would list their wedding registry items on my site so that their guests can visit my site to see the entire registry in one place. ? This site would need to allow: 1) allow the bride and groom to create an account (username and password) which will generate their own personalized wedding registry page. 2)? allow the bride and groom to? browse to any online store's website (such as [login to view URL] or [login to view URL]) and click a button (which they will have added to their favorites bar) to add the item to their wedding registry on my site. (see the "how it works" page of [login to view URL]). 3) allow wedding guests to visit the site and search for the bride and groom's personalized wedding registry by entering the couples name, date of wedding, and/or location of wedding. 4) allow wedding guests would need to be able to click on the link to any item in the registry to be directed to the online merchant where they can purchase the item (using my affiliate link code so that my site receives a percentage of the sale). The site already exists, but lacks the functionality described above. ? The site is viewable at: [login to view URL] ## Deliverables Page functionality needed for pages related to Bride & Groom: [login to view URL]: -Bride and groom who have already created account need to be able to login with username and password on ? the "Already Registered?" form. ? Username should be the email address of the bride and groom. ? If they forget either username or password they should be able to retrieve or reset. -Bride and groom who have not created account can do so by clicking "Create Your Account" button. ? This button links to the [login to view URL] page. [login to view URL]: -Required fields are: email address, password, bride & groom first and last names. -When this form is successfully submitted the bride and groom are linked to their own personalized registry page (see [login to view URL] for example). [login to view URL]: -This will be the customized page for each bride and groom couple. -The bride and groom's first names should be customized at the top of the page. -Items on registry should be able to be sorted by priority, title, price (high to low), price (low to high), number remaining, or merchant. -Page should show # of items viewing on page out of total number of items on registry (example: "showing 3 of 3 items"). ? Only 25 items should show per page. ? There needs to be a next button at the bottom of the page if there are more than 25 items. -Logout link (top right) should log out the user and return them to the [login to view URL] page. -Each item should show all details of item including picture (if available). ? Number of items remaining, purchased, and requested should show. ? The merchant name (example: [login to view URL]) should not be a hyperlink. ? The "Buy Item" button should be the only link to purchase the item. -Clicking the "Buy Item" link should open a new window and link to the item to be purchased on the third party merchant site. ? If the merchant is one of the merchants that I have an affiliate relationship with (which most will be), then this link must be structured in a way that allows me to receive an affiliate commission from the purchase. ? This is one of the most important features as it is the way my site generates revenue. -The "Check Off Item" button should link the user to the [login to view URL] page to check off the item. -The "Edit Item" button should link the user to the [login to view URL] page to edit the details of the item. -Each item should have a drop down box to the right of the item allowing the user to compare the price at several different stores. ? Ideally, these links should direct the user to appropriate store website and automatically search that stores website for the title of the item. ? If this is not possible, then the link needs to simply link to the main page of that particular store. ? However, in either case my affiliate link needs to be used to that I can receive the affiliate commission if the guest purchases an item on this site. -Pictures of the items do not need to be able to be enlarged. [login to view URL]: -Name, street, city, state, and zip are all required fields. ? When a user completes this form successfully the item that was purchased, the names of the bride and groom, and all the information from the form needs to go into a database. ? On the [login to view URL] page there will be a link where the bride & groom can download a PDF document of their complete wedding registry showing which items were purchased, who purchased the item, and the mailing address of the person who purchased the item (see [login to view URL]). [login to view URL]: -User can upload new picture if they click the image. ? All text fields in the form can be edited and updated. [login to view URL]: -Allows user to manually add an item that cannot be purchased online. ? The items added on this page will still show up on the registry with the items that can be purchased online. ? Allows for picture to be uploaded by clicking on the image. [login to view URL]: -"Add Item" button. ? This (script) will create a button on the internet browser favorites/bookmarks bar. ? The button will be titled "Add Item To Registry". ? The button will allow the user to browse to any webpage and click the button. ? When the button is clicked a popup window will appear. ? The popup window will have the same fields that the [login to view URL] page did. ? The fields will be pre-populated by this script with the title, price, and link to the item. ? The user will fill in the priority and the number requested fields manually. ? The user will also have the ability to change the title or price if it was pre-populated incorrectly. ? When the user pushes the submit button on this popup window the item will automatically be added to the user's wedding registry. ? [login to view URL]: -Allows the bride and groom to update their wedding and personal information. ? Allows for new image to be uploaded by clicking image. ? A link directs users to a form to change email address (username) or password for their account. Page functionality needed for pages related to Wedding Guests: [login to view URL]: -Form allows guests to enter bride or groom's last name, wedding date, or wedding city to lookup matching weddings. ? Search results are displayed on search.html. [login to view URL]: -List of possible matching weddings (based on criteria entered on [login to view URL]) are shown with check box next to each. ? Guests can check one box of the appropriate wedding and submit to view that couple's wedding registry. ? Only one box can be checked. ? Only 25 matches should be shown per page. ? A "more matches" option should be given at the bottom of the page if more than 25 matches are found. [login to view URL]: -This page has all the same functionality of the [login to view URL] page. ? The only difference is the welcome message with the bride and groom's name at the top, the message to the guests, and there is no "Edit Item" button available on each item. ? The affiliate code needs to be passed to the merchant websites buy clicking the "Buy Item" button or using the "Compare Price At:" drop down box.
