I need a tool to migrate email from google apps mail to my server (running cpanel) (multiple accounts)

My first choice was IMAPsync, but the problem with that is that it needs to be run several times to complete one single migration (for large transfers) and then there is the problem of mails repeating.

So I need either a dedicated tool or worst case a good php/shell wrapper for imapsync which would be able to detect a failed transfer and fix it.

Please explain how do you plan to implement this in your bid.

Imapsync has some issues and 'offlineimap' is much better. duplicate emails can be purged by Maildir deduper. I have migrated many gmail accounts to dedicated IMAP servers. So I can help you.
