I am looking for an SMF forum expert ([login to view URL])
BACKGROUND
--------------------------------------
I have this forum installed on my site. I hired a programmer last year to integrate this with my main site using SMF's Integration Hooks.
CURRENT JOB
--------------------------------------
There are a number of fixes that I still need done:
1- Show Usernames: The post, topics etc... were fixed so that they display my members "username" instead of first/last names, however, in certain places it is still displaying the users first and last name. I need you to provide an overall fix that will display ALL instants of the members name as the USERNAME.
2- Modifications to IP addresses: I want to make the admin IP address hidden from all moderators and global moderators. This applies to posts, IP lookup and anywhere else the IP displays. Also, I don't want Moderators to be able to see the other moderators IP - only Admin and Global mods can see all.
3- Enhance Forum Stats: There are a whole bunch of bugs in the stats section that need to be fixed. Ex: right now it says there are "1159 posts in 358 topics by 3 members" obviously its impossible that only 3 members posted all those topics so this is a bug that needs to be fixed. Also, I want to display birthdays with my current custom theme.
4- Install the "Top Karma Mod" [login to view URL]
This mod needs to be adjusted because its displaying the users first/last name instead of username.
5- Integrate Shout Box: I currently have a shout box on my main site from [login to view URL] - I want to instead integrate a shout box mod from SMF: [login to view URL]
However, I need you to install it and make some customizations to it. Also, I need you to provide me with the code that will allow me to display the same shout box on my main site pages (without them having to type in their username. If you have a better solution, please suggest.
Thats about it for now. If you do good work, I will have lots of work for you. P.S. Knowing Perl is a plus because my main site is built in Perl. Thanks for bidding
