Modify Joomla 3.x Website Template and make EShop Template (optional)

Our small business is looking for a new Joomla 3.x compatible template. Our current template ([login to view URL]) is not compatible and had numerous errors, particularly when logging in on the main page. We want to keep the same style, but with some changes to the color. The template must also be easy to modify later on and have multiple features, similar to or even based on something similar to the Zootemplates ZT F7 template ([login to view URL]) which is pictured in zt_f7_big.png. We currently have a clean Joomla 3.x installation on our server, as well as the Zootemplates ZT F7 template installed and running. We are having difficulty modifying this template to the exact color scheme we want. If you are able to modify this template, and it is easier than making a new one, you are encouraged to do so. The color scheme and features we are looking for are listed below: 1. Instead of having a patterned or gray background, the background should be jet black. 2. There should be no white background at all on content. Black background, dark gray or light gray content backgrounds if black is too dark, white text, light blue hyperlinks, slightly darker blue hyperlinks on rollover, a nice red highlight (such as the menu in the picture) since our logo is white with red highlight. 3. User login system must work properly to allow access to employee only menu options and content, as well as EShop use. On our old 2.x site, this did not work. 4. Themed error pages so that errors do not transition users to an ugly white screen. 5. We would like to purchase and use EShop shopping cart. We need a matching template for EShop to give users an integrated style.
