I need a simple Java application - which takes these arguments: 1. gmail user name 2. gmail password 3. gmail folder name It should use JavaMail API and connect to gmail using IMAP. Once connected, it should list first 10 emails from the folder passed in argument number 3 above. That's easy.. now the main part is validation. I want to somehow validate that every message that all 10 emails that I downloaded from gmail are valid -i.e. 100% complete and there was no data loss during network transfer. So, you need to know about email encoding / imap parts and need to come-up with creative ways on how can I validate the emails and make sure there was no data loss. That's the part for which I am posting this project. This can be a command line app or a swing app - whichever one is easy for you.
