I have a project we're building for a client and we need help. We will build the whole wordpress website as far as design and content goes but we need a developer help us code in the database functionality we need.
Our client runs an animal kennel & cattery and wants a system to run his business off. So he wants staff to be able to log into the back end and book in animals to stay, get grooming and things like that. Also he wants customers to be able to log onto the website and book their animals in and of it course it alerts if there's no room etc.... Customers can then pay online to book in right then and there or pay when they drop their animal off.
We're just in the process of mapping out all the functionality it needs and have an old MS-DOS foxpro database application he uses to make sure the new system has all the functions of the old system.
What we really need is ballpark quotes to see how much money we're talking about here, get the proposal through to the customer, get it signed off and kick it off. The client is very keen and has already paid a architecture deposit to us to scope out the project so he is not just a tyre kicker.
