We are needing some upgrades to the following website: [url removed, login to view]
For now, we want to start uploading our personal videos on to the site with the geographical details as described below:
1) When a user uploads a video, he will need to put in where he shot the video. The categories will be Continent, Country, State/Province, City. The Continent and Country categories will be required.
I recommend we allow the user to use a drop down menu for the Continents and Countries. That way, the user must choose from the list we provide so that we can avoid confusion in case the user misspells a word.
Example: if he intends to type "India" but instead types "Indai", thenwhen someone searches for "India", that user won't be able to findthe video because it's under "Indai", which doesn't exist.
For the State/Province and City, we will have a box for the user to that information in.
The Continent and Country categories will be mandatory. The Province/State and City categories will not be mandatory.
There is already a list of the continents as they appear on M V V, ***We will provide you a list of the countries.***
2) When someone is uploading a video, we need to let the user see an
upload time estimate, and a progress bar.
Example:
Upload Time Estimated To Be: 09 minutes, 24 seconds
Time Remaining: 04 minutes, 16 seconds
