I have: Mac OSX and MAMP Pro. Also have a Magento CE 1.7 website that is up and running. I need to create a local copy, using GIT version control, so that I can make further edits. I have already cloned the site via GIT, and created the local database, which I then imported the live site's database dump into. I've also messed with file permissions based on some things I read online. However, all I get is a blank page when trying to view the site. Something is not connecting correctly. I believe it is something very simple, such as an error in [login to view URL] configuration, file permissions, etc. I just don't have time to fight with it any more. I will supply all of the info you need, and will provide a means of connecting remotely to my Mac (TeamViewer). You will connect to my machine (during my business hours) and do whatever magic needs to be done to get my local development site working properly. For someone who has experience in this area I imagine it will only take a few minutes.

You will get Ansible playbook and vagrant box with virtual dev environment which is isolated from your system and you can easyly deploy which ever amount of these Magento environments at your will. Also your workflow will not be impacted. You still use git, your IDE etc... Kind regards
