Currently looking for a mobile developer (iOS only needed at the moment) to create a touchpad remote control capable of sending commands to a linux computer (via serial bluetooth as an example). We have a limiting timeline of about 3 weeks, so we may start with a designated touchpad, but in the future we would like to be able to use personal devices.
An eye for design would be nice, but as long as the "skin" is abstracted from the control/command side of things, that should work for our first prototype.
The linux computer will be controlling things like the the car's HVAC and sound/speaker system along with some other customized modules. I'll personally be working on a lot of the controls signals output from the linux computer, which leaves you with creating the touchpad interface and sending serial commands. However, we will be working closely on more complex things like integrating 3rd party APIs like Spotify.
I'm always open to other people ideas as well.
