Many people think they have an idea for THE best application. They aren\\\'t willing to pay upfront and expect developers to take the risk by investing time and effort without a guarantee the app will successfully pay them their cost.\r\n\r\nI confess, I am one of those people. Actually I am certainly willing to risk money on this, I just haven\\\'t a lot I can budget. I\\\'d like to know what an app like this would cost.\r\n\r\nI do know this idea would succeed, I know it is unique, I know it will make more than one person a millionaire. I say this with utmost confidence because I have enough business history behind me, and enough of a unique life experience, to be sure on both counts (success, uniqueness). Why am I mentioning all this? Do I just like to reading my own words? If you were thinking that, you\\\'re probably not the right person for this job, you\\\'re probably not very open minded or worldly and - please don\\\'t bid. If however you were just taking it as it comes, you might be a better fit.\r\n\r\nI can also say that if you\\\'re desperate, you\\\'re not in a comfortable enough place financially or professionally, then this work wouldn\\\'t suit you. Desperation does not lend itself to success when you\\\'re putting faith in others instructions and ideas, there is too much incentive to doubt.\r\n\r\nFinally, we need someone who is looking to become a partner, not a 50% partner sorry, not even close, but something like 5%, and to remain our developer for the long term. This person should be passionate about Apps, have a reasonable history of working with apps and developing many attractive and successful apps (minimum 10 application, minimum 5 years full time Application development). This person should be sure that what they want to do is make the best applications in the world, to redefine the standards and quality of applications every year, and to die happy and satisfied with their efforts. This person should enjoy fiction and fantasy genres, books, games, movies. That may not sound like your cup of tea - and I\\\'m sure most people don\\\'t fit all these criteria - but if you DO, please bid. List your experience and provide a resume link, and a portfolio link. Know that we\\\'re looking to compensate in two ways: (1) Some amount upfront (2) Long term return - forever - and long term partnership as our developer. Also know that we will be implementing a strict agreement on this as our companies IP, not yours. You should have some familiarity with these kinds of agreements, and you should probably be based in North America or Europe (excl. less stable countries) or Australia/New Zealand/South Africa or a very legally robust Asian country like Singapore.\r\n\r\nApp information:\r\n\r\nTo be disclosed to qualifying bidders.
