Need experienced expert in Artificial Intelligence (Application and Infrastructure)

I am setting up a lab focused on creating various use cases in Artificial Intelligence specifically in the Health Industry. I am seeking a machine learning engineer to join the team and work on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have both a machine learning background and strong software engineering skills. We are seeking someone with industry and academic experience working on a range of recommendation, classification, and optimization problems, and able to develop production-quality services. Responsibilities - - Develop infrastructure for building and training advanced recommendation models - Creating innovative methodologies and implementing end to end solutions for extracting value from real-time and historical data; - Developing and applying machine learning/deep learning, NLP and CV algorithms to various areas of recommendations, predictions and prescriptive analytics, optimizations, classifications, clustering, and segmentation; - Leveraging large sets of structured and unstructured data to demonstrate and build insights and foresights; - Improve the accuracy and efficiency of existing models - Develop tools and systems for model validation and A/B testing - Prepare and manage data sets required for recommendation models - Apply software development skills to a wide range of ML-related projects Minimum Qualifications - - BS degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with 5 years of relevant experience - MS/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or related field ideally with a significant ML or AI component a plus; - Personal contribution to the design and implementation of successful products based on machine learning; - Knowledge in software and algorithms in machine learning as well as information representation and fusion; - Strong mathematical foundation in machine/deep learning; - Experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, data science, or artificial intelligence - Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and shell scripts - Experience with Spark/Hadoop is a plus - Experience developing and debugging in Java/Clojure/Scala, Knowledge of functional programming is a plus - Experience in Health industry is a plus - Experience implementing Virtual Intelligent/bots is a plus
