Note: ChromeOS support via .onc file importation is a critical requirement. You can download and run Neverware's CloudReady OS which is based off of ChromeOS in a VM, as a live CD on your computer, or fully install it to your computer so that you can experience ChromeOS without owning a native ChromeOS device. If you go this route, test your config by importing from the chrome://net-internals/#chromeos page. There are no success or error messages, you'll only know that the config was properly parsed if it then shows up as a VPN configuration under Settings -> VPN. I need an OpenVPN server setup and client files compatible with ChromeOS clients (*.onc format) created. Your process needs to be documented, and, ideally written as some sort of script so that I can easily spin up a server and spit out the client files at a later date on a different machine, whether it be a bash script or something more employing Python, Node.js, Ruby, etc... This document ([login to view URL]), while rather old and outdated, still covers the general premise. You're probably still going to have to scour the web to find more comprehensive examples of .onc files, or, experiment with different OpenVPN server directives until you've compiled a sufficient configuration file. A few other links of interest, some containing examples of .onc files, others being configuration file 'splitters' to take a .ovpn client file and spit out a bunch of individualized components of the profile as separate files. Be wary of the dates on some of the blog posts although I believe most of the content is still applicable: - [login to view URL] - [login to view URL] - [login to view URL] - [login to view URL]
