This project involves working with an openwrt based wifi device to optimize the connection behaviour of a client station to an access point. The project consists of writing a script that will run on the device and perform the following; 1. Run an internal command to extract the details of the current access point. 2. Run an internal command to perform a scan of available access points 3. Analyze the results from step2 to determine if an access point with a better signal than the current access point is available. 4. If a better access point was found in step3, run a command to force the client station to connect to it. The script would be run periodically to ensure optimum connections are maintained. Devices in a test environment would be made remotely accessible for the development and testing.

Hello, I am a firmware developer and have a more than one and a half years of experience in OpenWrt. I have worked on QualComm, Realtek and Ralink SoC and have used various proprietary drivers to optimize and automate various wireless functionalities. Recently I have done a project that requires client detection and display of mac addresses even if the client is not connected to any SSID. This project heavily deals with wireless drivers and driver compatible commands in linux user space. Please look at my profile to know that I have done various projects with success and satisfied the employer. Hoping to hear from you very soon! Thanks!

Dear sir, I left my sysadmin position at iKoula hosting company niot long ago as they were completly insecure. I am a 24 years old man that graduated in a french university (IT - networking). As you can see in my profile, I used to get a lot of reviews. I am currently working on a bash script to completly automate wordpress install process including mysql & plugins & passwords. I done the same for Teamcity, it's in my reviews on this website. The other one is work in progress so I don't think it appears yet. PM me for me informations. I do clean code, with a lot of error-checking and try to eliminate all causes of bugs (special chars in the wirelesss SSID in your case, or other things). I am using Linux for 8 years so I know iwlist scan and all other commands to use wireless from command line. Regards,
