### GALLERY ### We do not currently have a gallery. We require a gallery to be integrated into our existing Joomla Installation that will allow members to post images to "The Gallery" for all to see. We require the ability to be able to not display images until they are approved, but we need the ability to turn this feature on or off. We require the gallery to run an automatic sequence that posts new images to our facebook/instagram account feeds. We require the ability for users to share individual images to their own facebook/instagram feeds and link them back to our website. We require the gallery page to utilise Astrometry API ([login to view URL]) to overlay images with object data, example can be found at: [login to view URL] We require the ability for a user to click an image to open a MODAL that shows a much higher resolution version of the image (where possible) We require the ability to edit/add categories. We require all gallery facebook shares to use our main logo as the image shown to facebook users (OG:IMAGE) Gallery should display the following information for each image: Uploaded By Added On Category Title (Which users should be able to set as they add/upload) The front page should show the latest 30 images, with pagination for extra The categories should only show latest 30 images within those categories, with pagination for extra Gallery will need a menu - so we can sort images into relevant categories:- Latest images Emission nebula Reflection Nebular Planetary Nebula Galaxies Open Clusters Globular clusters Widefield Comets & Specials Note: There is no requirement for private galleries, all images must be visible to all. ### USER ACCOUNTS ### We require the ability for Facebook users to be able to sign up to Roboscopes through Facebook, we need their COUNTRY populated in their user profile. Note: We currently use a membership software, PayPlans for our memebrs to sign up, however users can still be created via Joomla Registration if required ### ANY AND ALL SOFTWARES/PLUGINS/MODULES MUST BE LICENSED TO ROBOSCOPES # [login to view URL]

Hi, first of all this sounds like a fascinating project. With over 12 years of experience with Joomla I have yet to see a gallery component that provides an API based overlay. But, I would strongly suggest Phoca Gallery as a base gallery. Phoca gallery will provide most of the functionality out of the box. So, I would suggest the following. Installing Phoca Gallery and creating the menu category system that you require. Also, your access and submission requirements are fully supported using this gallery component. I shall contact Jan, the main developer at Phoca and see what his thoughts are on the API overlay and get back to you to see if this can be implemented between us. It appears that the Astrometry API recognises and labels images from a database and AI algorithm which is outside my personal sphere of experience but, if you were to contact me I shall make some enquiries and see if we can make this an extension of an existing Joomla component that can be licensed to you.
