Build a JS library to generate an animated Flourish-style line chart race charts

We need a Javascript library that allows us to generate an animated chart similar to the Flourish line chart race here [login to view URL]@flourish/horserace based on an input array of data. The library must allow customisation of the UI: background colour, the race line weight, colour, visibility of the labels on both axes, visibility and style of the grid, the running head of the bars - shape, solid fill or image, border colour and width etc. The library should preferably be under 30KB gzipped.
