We are looking for an experienced and self-driven iOS developer who can build a prototype of a content platform for mobile. We are looking for a UK based developer to work remotely, with an in-person meeting at the start of the project and as needed underway. Based on experience and consultations with developers, the prototype is projected to require around one week of development. Shuuto is one of the most prolific tv-production companies in Norway. We have written and produced hundreds of hours of scripted tv and have a back catalogue of titles sold to more than 50 countries. We are aiming to improve the experience of watching high-end scripted content on mobile. We will produce a show in parallel with the development of the app to continuously test how well various production methods work on mobile. You will be working with a founder who has experience working as a product manager. Other stakeholders include writers and an experienced showrunner. The price will be agreed based on an agreement of requirements and a statement of work. What you’ll do • Build the prototype from scratch – no legacy codebase • Build a well-architected foundation for future development • Work closely with our content production team to make sure there is a close connection between what is filmed and how it is presented on the application Required skills • Demonstrated experience with iOS SDKs and design patterns • Expertise with Swift and Cocoa Touch OR React Native • Published apps in the Apple App Store • A focus on UI design principles and making apps work intuitively • Experience working remotely and an understanding that active communication is vital to make it work • Love of owning a project end to end
