We are looking for experienced independent / freelance developers with strong iOS development experience to join our team for contract work.
We build mobile applications for clients across a number of industry sectors.
You will need to have developed a significant iOS application that was both a technical and commercial success.
We are looking to develop long-term relationships to cover the work we have planned over the 12 months over multiple projects.
Your responsibilities :
1. Work with the team to understand business requirements
2. Design and implement simple high-quality code
3. Assist testers to find and fix issues
Your qualifications :
1. iOS development experience
2. mySQL and RESTful web services experience an advantage
3. Demonstrable experience of working with, and / or developing APIs would be an advantage
Your Skills :
1. Solid knowledge and understanding of web and iOS architecture
2. Experience in Objective C, Cocoa, and iOS development for iPhone and iPad devices
3. Experience with agile / lean software development practices
4. Experience consuming RESTful API's and web services using JSON / XML
5. Experience with CoreLocation, iAd, Push Notifications, In App Purchase, Core Data, EventKit and iCloud
6. Experience of designing and developing MySQL databases
7. Experience of designing and developing SQLite databases
8. Experience of intuitive and ergonomically designed UI design
9. Understanding of Mobile UX Concerns
10. Clear communication skills in code, complemented with solid verbal and written communication skill
11. Passionate about mobile and user interaction on smart phones
12. Self-sufficient, self-organized, and able to take ownership of a project throughout its full lifecycle, including support after release
