Convert "Crossfire" board game play field into large image

I would like to convert the 1990's version of the board game "Crossfire" into an image to be used on a large poster printout (approximately 4 feet in length). The ideal approximate aspect ratio of 6.5 at the widest part of the artwork and 10 length. Would prefer to have the final product be vector based file type (illustrator file preferred) with at least the "crossfire" text in its own layer (to allow for adjusting the background without changing the text). The artwork request is for the play field only, no work is requested for the guns, rails or black plastic region.
