Create a pursuit rotor task for iPad

The pursuit rotor task is a classic psychology experiment from the 1950s.
We need a version for the iPad.
The user will hold a stylus and track a moving target on the screen.
We need to measure how many seconds the user keeps the stylus on the target during each trial.
The variables to be controlled by the researcher are:
1. The track that the target moves in (circle, square, or triangle), and this track will need to be as large as possible on the iPad screen
2. The size of the moving target
3. The speed of the target (in revolutions per second)
4. The duration of the trial (in seconds)
5. The number of trials in a block (1 – 99)
The data we want to record is the time on target for each trial. This is the amount of time in each trial that the tip of the stylus remains within the target as it moves around the track. This needs to be recorded with millisecond precision, and expressed both as time, and as a percentage of the total trial duration.
