Simple JQUERY/JSON app

Included is all of my course resources, separated by week. I'm not sure if you'll make use of this or not but I wanted to include it just in case it will help. For the final project, I was thinking a database on snakes. This "database" (really is just stored in xml / json files on client side") should have the following fields: -ID -Name -Sex / Gender -Age -Weight -Genetics1 -Genetics2 -Genetics3 -Genetics4 -Genetics5 -Notes To test it, you can just put in junk entries. You don't need to know anything about snakes for this. For the data visualization portion of the project, there could be a button to display a Google charts graph that shows all of the entries based on their weight, their age, and how many genetics entries they have (not the content of the genetics field, but rather how many have entries. For example, if a snake just has 1 gene, the "normal" gene, the remaining four fields would be left blank. Blank fields would not be counted). There should be a button to display all entries, display all entries with notes (if the field is left blank then do not count that snake), display with genetics (the user enters a keyword and for a record where any of the genetics fields have the keyword, display the entire record), display with age (user enters a number as int, if a record contains the entered int in the age field, display the whole record), and add a new snake to the database (ID, sex, and age should NOT be able to be left blank, everything else can be). The entries would be stored client-side in a json or xml file. Below are the actual requirements for the project: --------------------------------------------------------------- For the final project you need to implement Mobile-friendly application based on jQuery Mobile framework. In the application you must include/use the following: -Mobile touch events (swipe, tap, scroll, etc). -Advanced jQuery and JavaScript techniques (selectors, loops, DOM manipulation, etc). -External Data storage in XML or JSON files. AJAX calls must be used to pull the data from the external data storage. -Client-Side Storage. -Data Visualization (graphs, charts, etc) based on [login to view URL] or D3js library.
