Change a logo image to a vector

We have a logo with an image in it. We need the image converted to a vector so it can scale to a large sign. This needs to be completed by Friday this week.
The original image is fine for small logos but not of great quality. It is just the image we need done not the text. It will need to be drawn again i think!
