Cerebrals.org: enhance members\' experience

As you can see, the list of members is crude (cf. [login to view URL]). The page for profiles is also extremely simple (cf. [login to view URL]). Moreover, everything has to be managed directly from phpMyAdmin and thus it requires the admin to intervene everytime something has to be changed and doesn\'t allow the member to control his/her personal data alone. For both reasons, something more convenient is needed. Also, the members\' area consist of the sole list of members with the respective profiles. The list is simply protected with a password thanks to a WordPress plugin. I\'d like to remove this protection and use a login-and-password system instead. It would be great to offer members to connect via their Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. Cerebrals society owns both a Facebook and a LinkedIn account. On top of that, members apply via email (cf [login to view URL]) and I would like them to apply via an online form. Admission is subjected to assessment; therefore, it would require a validation by the admin. By the way, once the admin has accepted the new member, it should be good to have a login and a password generated automatically and sent to the members. In their application, prospective members should be invited to enter their Facebook and LinkedIn accounts so that after validation of their membership, they would be able to log in using their social media accounts. That is to say, not everybody would have their Facebook / LinkedIn account accepted for succeeding to log in.
