I have a website whose purpose is to instantly deliver game codes to customers. The current addon I'm using has a number of vulnerabilities which enable customers to buy codes for one cent, and then have a code delivered. Meaning I risk losing a lot of money. There is also the risk that the website could be hacked and codes stolen.
I believe the best solution to fixing this is to use encrypted codes on the wordpress site, then when someone makes a purchase it checks with an external database that the correct amount was paid, if correct then it will decrypt the codes and send it to the customer. I've been told MySQL is ideal for this.
