Copyeditor for Screenplay
$30-250 USD
Paid on delivery
Hi, I'm looking for a native English speaker with high attention, a strong sense of spelling and grammar, and experience reading screenplays to proofread a script(105 pgs) for a feature film. I'm counting on you to identify typos and grammatical issues in the writing. I would love to hear your feedback, but this job is not about giving feedback on the story. You don't need to spend your time telling me about the characters that aren't working for you or the scenes that you think should be re-arranged. Hopefully you shouldn't have to do a lot of work. However, there are definitely some typos in there, and I want to root them out. I would like to work this way: I send you the script in PDF format. You read through the document. You use a PDF editor (like Adobe Reader or Apple Preview) to very clearly highlight any typos and errors. Please highlight the single word or character. This way I'll be sure to notice your work. I'm using this method in an attempt to make it quick and easy for you. No typing is required: just highlighting. The job will be complete when you send me the completed document with highlights on issues I'll scroll through it, and notice the areas that you highlighted. ONLY freelancers with Screenplay experience will be considered. Please put "Screenplay" in the subject line.
