I have tried many POS and CRM tool to meet the reporting needs that are particular to the Barbershop. I now use the square register on an iPad to process CC payments and also run a cash drawer in my barber shop. The reporting that is built into the square register is insufficient for my end of day needs. I run a Numbers spreadsheet template simultaneously very day. The current date is added to the name of the spreadsheet at the beginning of the day. This spreadsheet is what is used to cash out the barbers at end of day. I can later go and open that spreadsheet using "numbers" on my office mac using iCloud drive. During regular business the barbers must open first the (NUMBERS) app to enter what they have done on a customer. Then they open the Square app to re-enter the same info for use of the register. My need would be for an app that does one of 2 things. 1) An app that simply bridge Square and my spreadsheet. or perhaps pulls data from Square to feed a spread sheet that is similar to the one I use now (which i have attached). This option seems relatively simple. or 2)An App that will take in transaction info and then access the square register for payment processing. Basically create my own POS system. The second would be ideal but from looking into squares that option is only available for approved developers. If this is possible then the app I assume would be ours to expand and or plug them into other API's like marketing apps. Any ways just a couple of specific requirements. *It must back up on line. I use iCloud for this, not perfect but it works for me now. *It should back up and reset each day so that the barber doesn't have to worry about properly opening the template. And of course the main point being that we get the reporting that we need through out the day while working off of one app and not having to double enter. If you feel that you get what I'm looking for and have a 3rd or 4th direction that is feasible please lets talk.
